Sunlight shines down on me When i get the garden groove its two steps to kick my moves in the gravel I can taste the clouds, taste the clouds, taste the clouds, taste the clouds Someone's got me in the clouds, and it feels like heaven Guessin' she can love me better than Stephenson, skeleton Sunlight walking in the light, to go over the river Into the summer, Portland's where i'll wander I don't want to think about winter, winter is no longer, i'm Into the summer, Portland's where i'll wander I don't want to think about winter, winter is no longer I can taste the clouds, taste the clouds, taste the clouds, taste the clouds Kayla's got me in the clouds, and it feels like heaven Guessin' she can love me better than skeleton

Straight kickin' down the path Taking it slow the morning aftermath, and he's Thin-thinking what the preacher has said The sun drips of lemons and the apples grow red, and he's Wan-wandering, drifting through the pines The old folk meadow with such brilliant vibes as the sun And the shadows behind him in the west His feet unfastened and the weights off his chest White dress pacing at the window Searching through her looking glass and waiting For his presence to be known And she'll go up behind a hay bail Holding in her laughter And waiting like a ghost

Country Mile 03:27
Don't you wonder how it goes outside your bed? Don't you wonder how it goes in the forest? It won't be long before it's summer again And I want you along so you can be my friend Don't you wonder what it's like to leave for awhile Don't you wonder what it's like for a country mile

about

This album is about springtime. Dusting off old feelings and getting ready for the summer. At the time these songs were just unfinished ideas. Years later I pieced it together and added the album art. The art is a sketch I did from the same time period with some computer editing.

This album reminds me of sunny days sitting at a vintage organ in my room writing riffs, my friends Joey, Austin, Page, and Kayla, the excitement and anxiety of graduating high school, and one of my best summers ever.
