Drifting between acoustic folk, instrumental jams, and electronic pop "Sleeping in Boxes" is an unpolished collection of tracks that bring us closer to the raw craft of an artist. These songs play out like incomplete sketches yet they carry essence of expertise and meaning within them.

I wrote these songs from 2012 - 2016 in Portland and Montana. They never seemed like much to me. Some of them I wrote while experimenting to find a new sound and some of them I wrote just to get some weight off my chest. But together I think they create a narrative of my creative mind at the time. Fragmented and subdued, waiting for a chance to resurface.
